Our Speaker Series will resume on Wednesday, January 15, 5.30 via Zoom. Former Osgoode Society President and Ontario Court of Appeal Judge Robert Sharpe will be interviewed by Professor Kent Roach about his career in the law and his forthcoming Memoirs, which will be published by the Osgoode Society as our 2025 members’ book.
Our other speakers in 2025 will include former Supreme Court of Canada Judge Rosalie Abella (Wednesday, February 19), in conversation with Prof. Jim Phillips, Osgoode Society Oral History Programme Director Professor Patricia McMahon (Wednesday, April 16), Ontario Superior Court judge Rita Jean Maxwell (Wednesday, April 30), and Douglas Sanderson and Andrew Stobo Sniderman(Wednesday, May 14)will talk about their 2022 book Valley of the Birdtail : An Indian Reserve, a White Town, and the Road to Reconciliation.
